Griffin Walker

Griffin is the strong, silent guy on the team. He brings size and a quiet yet determined demeanor. He lets his actions speak for him both on the ice and with his sister, who makes him laugh.

When not practicing with the team, Griffin loves visiting Roger’s House for the snoezelen room and massage mats.

As a 7 year old kid with spastic quad cerebral palsy, Griffin uses Roger's House for respite stays (or, as he prefers to think of them, a vacation from his parents), when transitioning from CHEO to home after surgery, and for ongoing care and support from the palliative care team.

Walking in the hot sun over bumpy pavement is one of his endurance training routines as is cuddling with his Dad (he's getting too big for Mum to hold!)!, With a space-themed bedroom with walls covered with glowing planets and twinkling far-off suns, Griffin is definitely a good candidate to be named one of the Dream Team’s three stars.
